Firehouse Subs has over 150 possible combinations for each fountain drink located at stores with the newer Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. The machines are a little easier to use, as it has a touch screen button selection system for picking your favorite drinks on a big electronic screen.

All of their fountain drinks are products of Coca-Cola. There are over 20 types to choose from, which do not include their other two selections, Cherry Limeade and water. Here is a list of all of their brands:

Example of Subcategories For Drinks

From the image it is seen that the subcategory of flavors varies depending on store location. This one has orange vanilla, but not orange Coke only. Cherry was one of the most common flavors found for the sub-choices.

Bottled Drinks

  • Milk
  • Chocolate Milk
  • Apple Juice
  • Coca-Cola
  • Diet Coke
  • Sprite
  • Monster Energy
  • Powerade (Blue, Red, Yellow)
  • Dasani Water

It should be noted that some stores may have a different selection of brands or fruit flavors available.

Some stores visited, for instance, did not have strawberry, but had lime, while others had lime and no strawberry.

For the bottled drinks, the amount is 20 fluid ounces. Their milk is 12 ounce for both the regular and chocolate milk, and it is made by Shamrock Farm. The apple juice is 4.23 ounces, made by Juicy Juice. Their the small juice boxes for kids.

  • Sweet Tea
  • Unsweetened Tea

Their sweet tea is made a lot of times with no set amount of sugar. It depends on the store and the cashier who makes it on how sweet or good it will be. It is made with tea packets and sugar cane sugar. Nothing special.

The unsweetened tea should always be the same, since one tea packet for brewing is all that is used everything.

There weren’t any special flavored teas from the stores I visited (like peach or raspberry tea).

The tea is generally warm or hot, depending on the time it was made, so ice has to be added for a cold drink. Their teas are usually remade every 8 hours. It is made in the restaurant 3.5 gallon tea urns with a commercial tea dispenser.

Cup Sizes

Firehouse Subs has 4 different cup sizes for their fountain drinks:

  • 12oz
  • 22oz
  • 32oz
  • 44oz

The 12 ounce is the size for the small kids meals, while the 32 ounce was the standard medium size for regular meals.

From the stores visited, it was possible to upgrade the cup size to a large (the 44 ounce) with no additional cost. The 22 ounce wasn’t used at those specific store locations, but may be used at others. They had the 12 for small, 32 for medium, and the 44 for large.

Additional small 8 ounce styrofoam cups were used as drinking cups for free water.

When multiple drinks are bought, they may not come labeled because of the different combinations available. So be aware of this beforehand.

Which beverage is exclusively offered at Firehouse Subs?

The only beverage that Firehouse Subs offers exclusively is the Cherry Limeade. It is made with limes flavoring and sugar, which is the same way lemonade is made, except with lemons instead of limes. It also includes cherry flavoring.

This flavor can be found in older stores without the newer Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, and is offered in the newer machines as well. Some machines have a button exclusively for it labeled “Firehouse Subs Cherry Limeade”. They have offered this beverage for years.

Custom drinks can be made, like a grape coke by using the second options available after selecting the beverage type. Older stores may still use the regular dispenser, which include buttons for adding multiple syrup flavors to one drink. It is possible to make even more combinations on the older dispensers.

Does Firehouse Subs have lemonade?

Firehouse Subs does have lemonade even though there exclusive beverage is the cherry limeade. They offer Minute Maid Lemonade, which can be mixed with other fruit flavors.

They do not make lemonade by mixing it like other restaurants may do. It is offered through the dispenser machines.

Does Firehouse Subs have milkshakes?

No. They do not have milkshakes available at their store locations. Making milkshakes requires a machine capable of doing it, and they don’t currently use one.

The only dairy drinks that Firehouse Subs currently has is milk and chocolate milk.

Does Firehouse Subs have coffee?

Firehouse Subs doesn’t make or sell coffee to its customers. The closest thing that they have that comes to this with caffeine in it is tea. Their store locations usually are scheduled to open later in the day, a bit before lunch time.

From the store that I have worked at, the employees would actually buy their coffee from other coffee shops across the street before work. They didn’t even have a personal coffee machine to make coffee at the store.
